Sometimes in life it would be nice to have a Liahona. I know the spirit can direct me the same way, but just think - you would have physical feedback that you are on the correct path.

Moses still had the Spirit with him. He also recognized the differences between God and Satan.

Prayer can give us spiritual strength. We can also read and study too give us this power.
